How does the bidding process work?

Many times, hotels and attractions will sell unsold rooms and tickets at big discounts to last-minute travelers, and if your dates are flexible, you can usually get even better deals. We work with some of the most reputable travel companies that purchase thousands and thousands of these hotel rooms and show and attraction tickets each year, and we can usually get "bulk rate" and "last-minute" discounts on excess inventory. Depending on the details of your vacation package -- when you are coming, where you want to stay, and what you want to do -- we can mix and match among these hotel rooms and tickets to provide deeply discounted packages.

By submitting your bid, you are not committing to any purchase of any kind. You are simply providing us with information that you may be interested in a particular vacation package at a particular price. We'll work to see if we can meet or beat your bid, and one of our Travel Specialists will contact you with the details. At that point, you can decide whether or not you'd like to book your vacation package.


Are there additional charges or services fees on top of the price that I bid?

No. No fees or charges are added to the price that you bid.

While we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to meet your bid amount, the amount that you bid should be the total price that you want to spend on your vacation package, including taxes. We do not add additional service fees or charges to the prices of our packages.


What is your Cancellation Policy?

First, remember that by submitting a bid and information request, you are not committing to any purchase of any kind. You are simply providing us with information that you may be interested in a particular vacation package at a particular price. We'll work to see if we can meet or beat your bid, and one of our Travel Specialists will contact you with the details. At that point, you can decide whether or not you'd like to book your vacation package.

If you do decide to book your vacation package with us, our cancellation policy is simple and fair.

If cancelling more than 72 hours prior to arrival:

  1. Put the full amount of your purchase on a Gift Certificate to be used within the next 12 months and we won't charge any cancellation fees, or
  2. Get a full refund less a 10% cancellation fee.

If cancelling within 72 hours of arrival:

Within 72 hours, no refund can be guaranteed. However, we have very good relationships with our lodging and theater partners. We will request to cancel your reservation and waive the cost. If they agree, we pass the savings onto you (less the 10% cancellation fee). We will only charge you the full amount for any lodging or theater that charges us. You must receive a cancellation number for this cancel request to be valid.

We sell all of our lodging and many shows and attractions at discount prices and we do NOT add any type of service fee or add-on fees. The cancellation fee is to help us recapture some of our cost of doing business such as credit card fees, long distance calls, the time to make the reservations and the time to cancel the reservations.

When will our credit or debit card be charged?

We do not collect credit card information on our web site. Remember, your bid is simply an information request to tell us that you may be interested in a particular vacation package at a particular price. We'll work to see if we can meet or beat your bid, and one of our Travel Specialists will contact you with the details. At that point, you can decide whether or not you'd like to book your vacation package. Only after confirming your order over the phone and giving our Travel Specialist specific authorization to charge your credit or debit card would you ever be charged.


How and when do I get my tickets?

Once you complete your order over the phone with one of our Travel Specialists, you'll receive instructions on how to pick up your Welcome Packet once you arrive in town on the first day of your vacation. Your packet includes your itinerary, confirmation letter, and vouchers for your lodging and show reservation. You may pick them up as soon as you get into town. While picking up your Welcome Packet, a reservation agent will go through your itinerary with you, help you locate all your events and lodging on a local map and help better orient you to the area while answering any questions you may have.
